UFC megastar Conor McGregor has been taking a lengthy break as of late. That being said, it seems every fighter in combat sports wants a piece of “Notorious.” Now odds makers have decided to pool up all of the betting odds for possible future opponents of the UFC lightweight champion.
Most recently, McGregor made out with the payday of his career by making his debut in professional boxing. For the match, “Notorious” went toe-to-toe with undefeated boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr. McGregor earned a staggering $100 million for his tenth round TKO loss to the still undefeated pugilist, allowing McGregor to take his time before stepping back inside any arena.
McGregor’s next fight, rather it be inside the octagon or a squared circle, has yet to be officially announced. “Notorious” has claimed to be interested in unifying his title in a match up against interim UFC lightweight champion Tony Ferguson, but McGregor has also been called out by several boxers.
Paul Malignaggi has seemingly wanted to throw down with McGregor ever since the boxer departed from the UFC superstar’s training camp. That being said, Oscar De La Hoya has revealed that has been secretly training in hopes of facing off against McGregor. Manny Pacquiao has called out the UFC lightweight champion as well. Of course, many fight fans are hoping to see a trilogy rematch between Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz. In the end, it would appear that “Notorious” has a plethora of options for his big return.
Justin Hartling of OddsShark.com has since come forward with a breakdown of McGregor’s betting odds against all of his next possible foes.
