UFC president Dana White whipped fight fans into a stupor when he revealed that he is interested in pinning a super fight between UFC featherweight champion Cris Cyborg and UFC bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes.
Since then, however, Cyborg has revealed that she would prefer to fight a competitor native to the featherweight division. Now Amanda Nunes has responded with a message over social media, claiming her fighting Cyborg is something “everyone wants to see.”
Amanda Nunes is on a dominant six fight winning streak in her mixed martial arts career, having most recently earned a close decision victory over Valentina Shevchenko. Now the fighter is looking to face off against Cris Cyborg for the featherweight title.
Taking to Twitter, Nunes stated”
“First of all, I have nothing personal against @criscyborg I do believe it is the fight that everyone wants to see and a fight where we can both leave our marks on this sport.”
