Another victory was added to Cris Cyborg’s record on Saturday, Dec. 30. UFC 219 was hosted by the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) in Las Vegas, Nev. for highly excited fight fans world wide, with the night’s main event featuring an octagon war between Cyborg and former UFC bantamweight champion Holly Holm.
A 25 minute battle for the belt went down between the two MMA warriors, with Cyborg earning a unanimous decision win over her opponent. However, it would appear that Cyborg is still fighting battles outside of the cage.
A controversial message was left by a credentialed member of Holly Holm’s training camp following the fight, in which Cyborg was referred to as a man by team Greg Jackson’s official photographer over social media.
Taking to Instagram, the photographer had the following message concerning the featherweight champion.
“This dude is tough as hell! That being said at the press conference he said Holly was the first one to make his nose bleed! You are my hero [Holly Holm] see you back in the gym”

Now a heated message has been offered by the UFC featherweight champion herself concerning the recent controversial remarks from the photographer.
Taking to Instagram, the following message was offered by Cris Cyborg:
“It is not acceptable for an official representative of @hollyholm @jacksonwink_mma to call me transgender following my Fight. Their official photographer was given a backstage credential to attend the @UFC and I expect an apology or their ability to get credentials for future UFC events to be affected by these actions. @ma2_media”
