An epic title fight rematch went down inside the Barclays Arena in Brooklyn, New York over the weekend. Now fighters are coming forward with their thoughts on the match’s outcome.
The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) hosted the highly anticipated fight card of UFC 223 on Saturday night, April 8. The exiting card offered fight fans a series of entertaining match ups.
Among them, reigning women’s UFC strawweight champion Rose Namajunas and formerly dominant title holder Joanna Jedrzejczyk went toe-to-toe in an immediate title fight rematch in the night’s co-main event. Namajunas earned a first round TKO victory over Jedrzejczyk back at UFC 217, earning “Thug” Rose the title and bringing an end to Jedrzejczyk’s undefeated streak.
In their rematch, Jedrzejczyk and Namajunas went the distance. Namajunas ultimately earned a unanimous decision victory over her opponent to retain her title. Check out what many fighters had to say about the performance within the social media posts down below.

In the last fight one of the biggest things JJ did or didn’t do rather, was move her head. Not a lot of head movement again early on.
