Former UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo pulled himself out of a two fight losing streak over the weekend. Now the former title holder has come forward with a few words over the matter.
“Scarface” went toe-to-toe with tough division contender Jeremy Stephens in the co-main event of UFC on FOX 30 on Saturday, July 28, in Calgary, Canada. Of course, the fight did not last long.
Jose Aldo was coming off of consecutive losses to reigning champion Max Holloway going into UFC on FOX 30. Still, Aldo made short work of his opponent on Saturday. In the end, the former champion earned a first round TKO victory over Stephens.
It was an emotional moment for “Scarface,” as the fighter could be seen weeping inside the octagon after the victory. Now taking to Instagram, Jose Aldo has provided a statement on his big win.
