The Post-Fight Faces Of GSP And Bisping, A Side-By-Side Comparison

Georges St-Pierre is now finally set to make his big octagon return after being away from the sport of mixed martial arts for nearly four years. Following a tough decision victory over Johny Hendricks in 2013, St-Pierre retired from the UFC as the reigning champion. However, the fighter is now making his big UFC comeback in a new division.

St-Pierre is now set to take on UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping at tomorrow night’s UFC 217. Having never competed in the UFC middleweight division, St-Pierre will be making a run for the title in Saturday’s big pay-per-view main event.

With “The Count” and St-Pierre each having their own histories of bloody wars inside the octagon, the night’s headliner is sure to be an exciting fight for all fans to enjoy. Now SB Nation’s Michael Hutchinson has taken to Twitter to share a photo comparison of each fighter’s faces directly after their three most recent UFC battles.

Michael Bisping earned a shot at the middleweight title by beating former champion Anderson Silva last year. The two went into a bloody war that ultimately went to the decision, before Bisping would go on to knock out Luke Rockhold for the belt. After that, the newly crowned champion made a successful defense of his title in a fight against Dan Henderson at UFC 204.

Georges St-Pierre went the distance in each of his three most recent fights, with a close decision victory over Johny Hendricks at UFC 167. The champion also went on to defend his title from Carlos Condit and Nick Diaz in two brutal fights, before facing Hendricks and then slipping into a four year retirement.
