While former UFC bantamweight champion Miesha Tate has retired from the sport of mixed martial arts, the former fighter has not removed herself from the MMA world completely. Rather, Tate has now taken on a managerial role over select fighters within the sport. Among them, Tate is now the acting manager to tough competitor Cindy Dandois.
Now Dandois is looking to reach the next level of her mixed martial arts career by taking on the UFC featherweight champion.
UFC featherweight champion Cris Cyborg put another victory to her name at Saturday’s, Dec. 30, UFC 219. The reigning title holder earned a unanimous decision victory over former bantamweight champion Holly Holm in the night’s main event. Now Dandois is looking to get in on the action.
Taking to Twitter, Dandois decided to call out the UFC champion.
“Congrats To @criscyborg! How About the number one 155er vs the number one 145er next???…. or Cris could fight @MeganA_mma who I already beat. See my wins vs Megans and tell me who Should be next in line To fight the #champion? @ufc”
