Women’s UFC strawweight Karolina Kowalkiewicz was on the bus during the recent fracas involving UFC superstar Conor McGreogr. Now the fighter has come forward with her reaction to the incident.
“Notorious” made his presence known at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York on Thursday, April 7. The fighter lead a large entourage backstage to of the center, where the group allegedly attacked a bus filled with UFC competitors set to fight on the UFC 223 card.
Multiple fighters were injured from the incident, including Michael Chies and Ray Borg. McGregor has since been charged with three cases of misdemeanor assault and a felony charge of criminal mischief.
Karolina Kowalkiewicz was within the bus during the fracas and competed on Saturday at UFC 223, earning a decision victory over Felice Herrig. Speaking on if she was afraid during the bus attack, Kowalkiewicz told reporters “No, I am from Poland.”
