Make no mistake about it, Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor are rivals.
One man hauls the load of the UFC’s Irish fanbase, while the other has Russia on his back. You add that with the two being the most dominant forces in the UFC’s lightweight division and a fight between the two is on everyone’s mind.
Conor McGregor teammate Artem Lobov finds himself right in the middle of this rivalry. Not only because he’s simply a teammate of McGregor, but he’s also Russian, making this feud all the more personal for Khabib.
After an interview with the Russian media kicked up dust between Lobov and Khabib, a very public hotel confrontation ensued. (Watch the full video here)
And while it looked like all was well, new video has emerged showing Khabib putting his hands all over Conor’s boy. Even slapping him pretty briskly on the back of the head.
