Mixed martial arts veteran Carlos Condit suffered his second loss since making his big octagon return over the weekend. Now the fighter has come forward with a stunning reaction to the recent defeat.
The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) was in Glendale, Arizona on Saturday, April 14, to host the promotion’s latest fight card. This time around, the world’s most famous mixed martial arts promotion hosted the highly anticipated fight card of UFC On FOX 29 inside the Gila River Arena.
Co-headlining the night’s event, Carlos Condit and Alex Oliveira went toe-to-toe in an octagon war for division dominance. Oliveira bloodied up his opponent with some devastating strikes before earning a submission victory over the fighter in the second round.
Still, the two mixed martial artists put on a show for the Glendale crowd that had the arena on its feet. Taking to Instagram after the fight, Carlos Condit decided to keep things stoic and simple.
The fighter posted a photo of himself backstage of the Gila River Arena with blood still dried on his torso from the epic battle. Steel faced, the fighter mean mugged the camera to show his gangster persona following an octagon war with one of the UFC’s top talents.
Rather than offering an apology to his fans or giving a few words to his opponent, Condit simply showed off his fighting spirit with a gangster photo for all to see.
