Former UFC bantamweight champion Holly Holm and reigning featherweight champion Cris Cyborg having being going back and forth with some heated trash-talk as of late. Cyborg previously offered her complaint about been allegedly targeted unfairly by USADA. In response, Holly Holm fired back with a heated message for the champion.
Now Holm has offered a new statement concerning her outburst towards Cyborg in an interview with Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour. In the new interview, Holm explained that she has no interest in having her name associated with PED usage in any way. As a result, the fighter fired back at Cyborg’s remarks. Holly Holm and Cris Cyborg will throw down at UFC 219. The event will take place inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev. on Dec. 30. UFC 219 will be available live on pay-per-view.
